Now imagine that child having to walk into a cold, unfamiliar room, sit before a lineup of strangers, and tell their story over and over again. Each retelling a wound reopened. Each recounting a reminder of their pain.
That is the reality we are working together to change.
The Arthur D. Curtis Children’s Justice Center exists because children who have been violated deserve more than justice — they deserve compassion, dignity, and a safe place to be heard. The Center’s dedicated multidisciplinary team wraps around each child and family, ensuring that every young victim is supported, protected, and never made to feel alone in what they’ve endured.
Their mission is both fierce and tender: to hold perpetrators of crimes against children fully accountable through our judicial system, while keeping the well-being and healing of each child at the very heart of everything they do.
What Your Generosity Has Already Made Possible
Because of donors like you, we have been able to provide the Center with specialized cameras that allow a child to tell their story just once — sparing them the trauma of reliving their experience again and again in front of investigators, attorneys, and courts. That single act of protection can make an enormous difference in a child’s healing.
Your support has also helped fund forensic social workers who walk alongside child victims and their families, while freeing up detectives to focus their full attention on locating and prosecuting the people who committed these crimes. Because justice delayed is justice denied — especially when a child is waiting for safety.
Donations have also been used to bring in translators, ensuring that no child is left without a voice simply because of the language they speak. And through your contributions, we created the Windermere Room — a quiet, peaceful sanctuary within the Center where children can simply breathe, feel safe, and know that someone in this world is on their side.
All proceeds from this event go directly to the Arthur D. Curtis Children’s Justice Center. Every dollar you give is a promise to a child somewhere that the world will not look away — that there are people who care, who will fight, and who will not rest until they are safe.
